    Portable infoboxes

November 12, 2016 by Count of Howard

As there is no active admin or bureaucrat on this wiki to whom I could address this matter, I have elected to create a blog post in the hopes that future admins/bureaucrats may someday read this.

Due to the prevailing lack of infoboxes on this wiki, mobile-friendly or otherwise, I have created an example infobox package that complement the color scheme of the Rush wiki.

In the event that anyone decides to implement this, I am available for questions. As always, feel free to use this code as desired.

We can still continue the Tour project, but do not use any information from Power Windows as a source. Use the official website for new dates. Other usefull websites include the NMS Email Archive , the Digital Rush Experience, plus websites about bands Rush has toured with, like Hot Rails to Hull.

    Source issue

    January 29, 2011 by Metnever

I afraid we will have to remove all tour information and images sourced from the Power Windows website. He has a issue with us using his information. I recieved this email yesterday:

I just stumbled upon your RushWiki and was extremely upset to find that my site had been scraped for the data found there. Specifically, I'm talking about the Tour section as it appears to be a complete cut/paste of my site including photos. I never gave permission for this, and ask that you please remove the tour section. If you provide instead a link to my site that would be preferable, as I have spent a GREAT DEAL of time to accumulate those items, and I can't have sites just scraping all of my data and graphics and presenting it as their own.

Everybody else is doing this, so...

I'm working mainly on Discography stuff, creating and expanding those vital articles (particularly off of Counterparts, among others...).

I'm working on the tour section mainly. I hope to one day have at least one picture, poster, or newspaper article for every performance. I'm also including every setlist and ticket stub. This is a big project, but I know I can do it all on my own. If you have anything that I do not already have, feel free to send me a link to it on my talk page. P.S. Feel free to leave any comments on the talk pages for any shows or tours.

    rush complete song project

    January 26, 2010 by Poddish

I would like to have a page for EACH and EVERY one of Rush's songs together on this wiki. It's a big project, but it would add many pages, and increase users on this wiki, speeding up the process. There currently is no "Universal" format when creating the pages, but the pages should include: Song title; Album title; Song # (on original album); Song length; Credits for each band member; and the sources you used to get the information (but do NOT cite another wiki as a source). Since this project includes songs that weren't released officially (but have been completely written ie: pre 1974) and live covers not on ANY (of Rush's) official albums, not all of the "requirements" are nesessary.
